Women Beat, Rob Cabbie in Bronx

NEW YORK-  Police are searching for a group of women who beat and robbed a cabbie in the Bronx. 


The cabbie picked up a group of three women in Manhattan at around 8:15 pm on June 11. He dropped off one of the members on Willis Avenue. He then drove the remaining two to their destination at 3606 Bronxwood Avenue. 

Then the women tried to exit the cab without paying as the 55-year-old cab driver tried to stop them. 

The woman then punched, pushed and kicked the cabbie. During the beat down they managed to grab $120 in cash from the driver. They fled on foot east on 213th Street.

The cabbie suffered scratches, bruises and swelling under his eye.
