Knife Fight Leads to Mom’s Death in Bronx

Couple Stabbed Each Other in Parkchester Apartment

NEW YORK- A Bronx woman was stabbed to death during a knife fight with her husband in their Parkchester apartment, cops say.

The horror began at around 3 am, when the couple’s oldest daughter returned home to the Metropolitan Avenue apartment to find her mother and stepfather arguing with knives.

The daughter dashed out of the building to call police.

When officers arrived on the scene they found 46-year-old Natasha Roberts with a stab wound to her torso.

She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

The 52-year-old stepfather was later taken into custody by police as he was being treated for his wounds.

Cops say when they arrived at the scene the stepfather had suffered two stab wounds to the abdomen and a puncture wound to the head.

Investigators said they recovered two knives at the scene and the couple had prior reports of domestic violence when they lived in Queens.
